Jay G. Caballero is a member of the Texas Criminal Defense Lawyer's Association and the Tarrant County Criminal Defense Lawyer's Association. He is also a past member of the Austin Criminal Defense Lawyer's Association and the Williamson County Bar Association.
Mr. Caballero has handled numerous cases involving accusations of embezzlement, fraud, theft, assault, sexual misconduct, and drug/alcohol-related offenses. Mr. Caballero has litigated such matters as illegal search and seizure, improper investigation and police misconduct, and eye witness misidentification. He is experienced in utilizing expert witnesses in such fields as Field Sobriety Testing and Psychology / Psychiatry. Mr. Caballero is also currently pursuing a Master of Arts in Theology from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary and is a member of the Evangelical Theological Society.
